Appealing to local hikers, trekkers, climbers, adventure travelers, and water-sports enthusiasts, the festival is anchored by the Calgary Area Outdoor Council sponsored "Outdoor Workshop Series" and the Calgary International Mountain Film Festival.
Both the workshops and the film festival's venues are located in the Kensington district and run from Monday, April 19th through Sunday, April 25th.
